Home > Our People > Staff Sherry Swain Sherry Swain was born and raised in Alpine, AL. Sherry is entering her 17th year in the Insurance industry. Prior to her insurance career, Sherry spent 7 years in the Banking industry. She has been with Rux Carter Insurance for over 5 years and currently serves as a Customer Service Representative with a focus on Personal Insurance. She is the mother of two boys. She is also an active member of True Light Community Church in Sylacauga where she serves as Church Secretary and Treasurer. Contact Sherry: Sheila Rasco Finley Sheila Rasco Finley recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary with Rux Carter Insurance. Sheila has been in insurance business for over 20 years as a licensed agent and Customer Service Representative. Her primary role as an agent and CSR is to serve the Personal Insurance needs of our customers. In addition to Personal Insurance, Sheila is also a licensed Life Insurance Agent and is responsible for many our life cases. Sheila is married to her husband, Lane Finley, and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Keyla and Hope. She is extremely active in her church, Bethel Baptist Church as well as its affiliated school Cornerstone Christian School. Contact Sheila: Henrietta Oliver, CISR Henrietta Oliver, CISR, is a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. She began her insurance career in 1969 and obtained her agent’s license in 1977. In 1992, Henrietta obtained her designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR). Henrietta has worked in independent agencies her entire career, working primarily with commercial accounts. Her past and current job duties include customer service, accounting, claims, quality / loss control, systems administrator, bonds, marketing, and training. Henrietta is an avid gardener and is a very active member in her church, Columbiana First Baptist Church. Contact Henrietta: Shannon Higgins, CISR Shannon Higgins, CISR, is the newest member to the Rux Carter team. Shannon has over 2 years experience in the insurance industry after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Montevallo in 2006. Shannon received her insurance agent’s license in 2008 and completed her requirements to obtain her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 2009. Shannon’s primary focus will be serving the needs of our commercial customers. On a personal note, Shannon is engaged to be married in the summer of 2009. She and her fiancée, Jason, attend Westwood Baptist Church. Contact Shannon: Linda Haney, CISR Linda Haney, CISR, was born and raised in Clanton, Alabama and brings to the agency over 30 years experience in the insurance business. After moving to Shelby County in 2003 she went to work for Rux Carter Insurance Agency as a Customer Service Representative and her current focus includes both Marketing and Bonds. She is a licensed insurance agent and she also holds her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. She is married to Timothy Haney, who currently serves as the District Commander for Disabled Veterans in Chilton County. They are active members of Lay Lake Baptist Church in Shelby, AL. Contact Linda: Rebecca Brasher Rebecca “Becky” Brasher began work for Rux Carter Insurance Agency in April of 1980. In 1992, Becky obtained her Insurance Agent’s license. While she has served many roles within the agency, today Becky focuses on Bookkeeping as well as handling the Bonding needs for our customers. Becky was born and raised in Shelby, AL.
